Onyx Releases New Account Origination Solution for Financial Services Market
Flexible solution delivers account origination embedded within broader CRM platform

BELLEVUE, Wash. - Onyx® Software Corporation (NASDAQ: ONXS), worldwide leader in successful customer relationship management (CRM), today announced the release of the Onyx Account Origination Manager, a new solution designed to help streamline the process of applying for and establishing a new account within various financial services institutions. The solution provides the flexibility required to accommodate a variety of processes - from opening depository accounts, to applying for a loan, to opening an investment account.

Today, account origination is a complex and time-consuming process for many financial services organizations. Staff will often interact with several back office systems which each handle separate parts of the origination process - thereby forcing users to master multiple interfaces and enter the same information repeatedly. Using the Onyx Account Origination Manager, staff can use a single system and take full advantage of the information that already exists in the Onyx CRM system to improve the user experience and reduce redundant data entry and management.

While account origination processes vary from organization to organization, the Onyx Account Origination Manager provides a workflow framework that can be easily customized by the financial institution to drive the specific process required to establish a new account within their organization. The Onyx workflow framework allows the client to easily map their unique process steps into Onyx and drives the business logic necessary to execute that procedure. Organizations can use the integration framework to interface with existing online and back office systems - streamlining workflow and creating a consistent interface for the user.
