May 09, 01 Onyx Forms Strategic Partnership To Resell Firepond eServicePerformer Products
Agreement Merges Firepond's Intelligent Customer Service With Onyx's Award-Winning CRM Solution
BELLEVUE, Wash., and WALTHAM, Mass. - Onyx Software Corporation (NASDAQ: ONXS), a leading provider of enterprise-wide, customer-centric e-business solutions, today announced a strategic reseller agreement with Firepond (NASDAQ: FIRE), a leading provider of comprehensive selling and service solutions. In this agreement, Onyx will bundle and resell Firepond's multi-channel eServicePerformer products in conjunction with Onyx's thin-client customer relationship management (CRM) portal suite, Onyx Enterprise 2001.
Together with Onyx's XML-based Internet-Native Architecture, the eServicePerformer products will enable companies to provide the right answers - the first time and every time - to all forms of electronic sales and customer service inquiries. These new capabilities will help maximize employee productivity while increasing customer loyalty as customers receive personalized answers to their inquiries through the communication channel they prefer.
