Haemonetics Selects Onyx Software to Drive Enhanced Service To Healthcare Market at Lower Cost
BELLEVUE, Wash. - Onyx® Software Corp. (Nasdaq: ONXS), worldwide leader in successful CRM, today announced that Haemonetics Corp. (NYSE: HAE) has selected the Onyx customer relationship management (CRM) solution to help improve efficiency and enhance customer service. Haemonetics will use the technology to automate several sales processes, improving the customer experience and the efficiency of the sales process. Haemonetics is a leading provider of automated blood processing technology. The company designs, manufactures and markets automated blood-processing systems worldwide. The company cited functionality and integration capabilities as key differentiators in choosing Onyx over other vendors. Haemonetics will implement the Onyx Employee Portal (OEP) across its sales, marketing, service and support departments, initially rolling it out to approximately 100 users throughout the United States. Employees will use OEP to accomplish a wide range of tasks including tracking the sales process from lead inception to closure, increasing the visibility of the entire customer exchange, and automating the contract process to electronically manage document sharing throughout the company. Follow-on phases include an expected European implementation, which would more than double the total number of users. This integration will enhance the exchange of information between key customer touch points throughout the entire organization. "By automating some of our contact and opportunity management processes and implementing automated contract monitoring systems, Haemonetics hopes to significantly improve customer support," said Steven Swenson, executive vice president of World Wide Sales and Marketing for Haemonetics. "We are taking advantage of Onyx's CRM solution to streamline our sales processes and build stronger, long-term relationships with our customers." Haemonetics markets and sells its products to hospitals, blood banks, commercial plasma collectors and national health organizations through its direct sales force in North America, Western Europe and parts of Asia. This sales force comprises sales representatives and clinical specialists in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Australia, Canada, Japan, China, Taiwan and Switzerland. Sales representatives and clinical specialists interact with physicians, surgeons and nurses to promote and sell Haemonetics' products and services.
