Aug 28, 00 Onyx Software Announces Alliances with Network of IBM Resellers
Onyx and IBM expand joint sales efforts to bring customers a proven e-business solution
Bellevue, Wash. - Onyx Software Corp. (Nasdaq: ONXS), a global supplier of enterprise-wide, customer-centric e-business solutions, today announced partnerships with regional IBM premium resellers creating an IBM sales engine that will work with Onyx Software's direct and indirect sales forces to jointly sell Onyx 2000 running on IBM Netfinity servers. By focusing on core competencies, the partnerships create an optimum selling environment for Onyx and IBM sales people who were previously engaged separately at prospect sites. Onyx Software has entered into hardware alliances with partners including Hoffman Technologies, West; Integrated Solution and Services Inc., Northeast; Mark III Systems, Southwest; Solution Technology Inc., Central States; Vista Computer Technology, Rocky Mountain; and Mainline Information Systems, Southeast.
These regional partners will deliver the IT infrastructure required for customers to implement and run the Onyx suite of applications, enabling customers to realize return on the investment sooner, and deliver the solution on time and on budget and with known performance parameters.
