Aug 15, 2001 Logistics.com Implements Onyx Software Solution in Six Weeks to Enhance Customer Relationship Management Transportation technology leader selects Onyx to enhance its service quality; solution chosen for its rapid deployment, flexibility and robust CRM functionality
BELLEVUE, Wash. - Onyx® Software Corporation (NASDAQ: ONXS) announced that Logistics.com, Inc., a leader in transportation procurement and management technology, completed enterprise-wide implementation of the Onyx solution in a six-week time frame to provide its employees with comprehensive Customer Relationship Management (CRM) capabilities. Use of the Onyx system gives Logistics.com one-click access to critical customer information across the enterprise, enabling the company to align around the customer for enhanced service quality.
Logistics.com plans to run all aspects of its business through Onyx, using the Onyx Enterprise 2001 suite of thin-client portals to assist in their efforts to streamline customer, prospect and partner communication across the organization, grow revenue, increase productivity and enhance customer satisfaction. Initially, the primary users are customer service, sales and marketing, but the entire enterprise has been trained on and has access to the system. The company is continuing to integrate back-office systems with Onyx on an ongoing basis, with plans to include its accounting application and a third-party bug-tracking application used by technical support and product development.
