Metavante Chooses Onyx Software to Expand its Hosted CRM Solution to Financial Services Industry

Deal to Strengthen Metavante's CRM Offering for Financial Service Providers

BELLEVUE, Wash., and MILWAUKEE - Metavante Corporation has signed a multi-year contract with Onyx Software Corp. (Nasdaq: ONXS), which will expand its hosted customer relationship management (CRM) solution to the growing Metavante customer base of more than 3,500 financial institutions. The agreement creates a broader offering for Metavante customers in the area of customer relationship management, one of the industry's fastest-growing technology segments. In addition, the deal strengthens the Onyx leadership position in hosted CRM applications, and solidifies its status as a leading provider of CRM applications to the financial services sector.

The Metavante/Onyx CRM solution optimizes and streamlines customer interactions for financial service industry users, including executive management, commercial lenders, call center agents, branch banking personnel and other sales and service personnel. By leveraging more complete customer data and a more comprehensive view of a customer's relationships, sales and service personnel can react more quickly and accurately to a customer's specific needs and readily identify opportunities that can lead to additional sales. Additionally, by hosting the application and delivering this offering through an ASP outsourced model, Metavante enables its clients to focus their personnel and investment capital on other areas of their business.
