Onyx Software Congratulates World-Champion Anaheim Angels
Wild-Card Team Reaches and Wins World Series; Also Uses Onyx Software for Better Results off the Field
BELLEVUE, Wash. - Onyx® Software Corp. (Nasdaq: ONXS), worldwide leader in successful CRM, today congratulated one of its premier sports franchise customers - the Anaheim Angels - on winning the 2002 Major League Baseball World Series against the San Francisco Giants in game seven of the series. The Angels also have successfully implemented the CRM solution from Onyx Software, using it to manage customer information, segment target markets and drive sales increases.

The Anaheim Angels are part of Anaheim Sports Inc. (ASI), which also manages the Anaheim Mighty Ducks and multiple sports venues. Both the Angels and Mighty Ducks use Onyx Enterprise CRM to integrate and manage more than 400,000 records from multiple data sources, including Ticketmaster, TeleMagic and several Microsoft business productivity products.
The Angels chose Onyx because of its ease of use, customization capabilities and interoperability with other disparate applications and platforms. The teams are able to evaluate events and promotions to better target prospects, uncover up-sell and cross-sell opportunities for increased revenues, and analyze sales forecasts in real time.
