Onyx Software Continues Expansion in Asia BELLEVUE, Wash. - Onyx® Software Corp. (Nasdaq: ONXS), worldwide leader in successful CRM, today announced it has formed a key partnership with Asia Bell Company Ltd., in which Asia Bell will distribute Onyx solutions in Thailand. The partnership will help Onyx reinforce its leadership position within the growing CRM market in the Asia-Pacific region. Under the terms of the agreement, Asia Bell will resell Onyx Enterprise CRM, as well as provide maintenance and product support to customers in Thailand. "In Thailand today, competition has developed in most market sectors, so companies have been forced to assess and ensure that customers are satisfied with products and services offered," said Stephen Tongue, executive vice president of Marketing and Operations for Asia Bell. "The key benefit of our relationship with Onyx is the combination of rapid deployment and full in-country support, which allows us to offer our prospective customers a tangible and quicker return on investment with maximum uptime." In addition to rapid, cost-effective implementation and wide user adoption, Onyx Enterprise CRM includes full Unicode support, which allows companies to save and display multilingual text (e.g., Thai, Chinese, Japanese and English) in a single server and database. This important architectural advantage allows Onyx customers in Thailand to save all customers' information in their native language. Onyx is the only CRM suite provider to offer full Unicode support. A report released by IDC earlier this year estimated a compound average growth rate of 30 percent over the next five years. Frost and Sullivan has predicted that the Asia-Pacific market for CRM software will reach $561.8 million in 2003.
