Onyx Software, Avanade Partner to Deliver Enterprise-Level CRM Solutions on Microsoft .NET Enterprise Servers
New Alliance to Benefit Enterprise Customers Faced With Complex Deployments

BELLEVUE, Wash., and SEATTLE - Offering businesses a complete solution for large-scale integrations of customer relationship management (CRM) applications, Onyx Software Corp. (NASDAQ: ONXS), and Avanade Inc., a joint venture between Microsoft and Accenture, have formed an alliance to deliver Onyx's CRM solutions on the Microsoft .NET Enterprise Server. Through this strategic alliance, Avanade and Onyx will offer end-to-end CRM solutions which provide the scalability and reliability that today's customers demand, while maintaining the flexibility to support future pervasive computing paradigms.

Already proven through customer engagements, the partnership enhances the momentum of Onyx's commitment with Microsoft to offer CRM solutions on Windows 2000 and .NET Enterprise Servers, including SQL Server 2000 database. With Avanade, Onyx can rapidly deploy its scalable CRM products to enterprise-class organizations that base their systems on Microsoft solutions.

  • Provide integration of Onyx's CRM products with third-party applications, including enterprise resource planning, billing, e-commerce and legacy transaction systems, via Microsoft's BizTalk Server.
  • Enable wireless access to critical Onyx CRM functionality for mobile workforces.
  • Deliver support for the Microsoft Windows XP Smart Tag initiative.
