Onyx Software Enters China Market
Partnership With North 22 Solutions Marks Company's Foray Into Burgeoning CRM Market in China

BEIJING - Onyx® Software Corp. (NASDAQ: ONXS), worldwide leader in successful CRM, today announced its entry into the growing market for CRM in mainland China. The company has signed a master reseller agreement with North 22 Solutions Ltd., in which North 22 will market and promote Onyx Enterprise CRM solutions in the Chinese market. The relationship will reinforce Onyx's leadership position within the growing CRM market in the Asia Pacific region. The signing ceremony, hosted by North 22 Solutions in Beijing today, officially marked the start of the relationship.

Under the terms of the agreement, North 22 will work closely with Onyx to localize Onyx Enterprise CRM in accordance with cultural and language nuances in the Chinese market, while retaining all the benefits of Onyx's globally proven product. North 22 Solutions will also handle the marketing of the Onyx CRM solutions and will draw on its strong sales force and industry contacts to develop distribution channels for Onyx on the mainland.

In addition to speedy deployment, cost-effective implementation and wide user adoption, Onyx Enterprise CRM includes full Unicode support, which allows companies to save and display multilingual text (e.g., Chinese, Japanese, Thai and English) in a single server and database. This important architectural advantage allows Onyx customers in China to save all customers' information in their native language. Onyx is the only CRM suite provider to offer full Unicode support.

Recent studies have shown that IT investment throughout the Asia Pacific region is set to increase, particularly for customer relationship management (CRM) solutions. A report released by IDC earlier this year estimated a compound average growth rate of 30 percent over the next five years. Frost and Sullivan have predicted that the Asia Pacific market for CRM software is expected to reach $561.8 million (U.S.) in 2003.
