Compaq and Onyx Software Asia Form Strategic Alliance

Alliance offers customers combined strengths of Onyx Software's customer-centric e-business applications and Compaq's world-class platforms and professional services

Bellevue, WA - Compaq Computer Asia Pte Ltd and Onyx Software Asia have entered into a strategic alliance to extend customer-centric e-business solutions to businesses in Singapore. The scope of the alliance includes joint development and solutions engineering, business development initiatives and marketing campaigns. Compaq and Onyx Software Asia will collaborate to sell and deploy Onyx's customer relationship management (CRM) applications, with the Compaq professional services team providing integration and consulting services to customers.

Compaq and Onyx Software will also collaborate to integrate the BanqIT Financial Business System with Onyx's software suite and develop WAP applications on Compaq's iPAQ Pocket PCs. Both companies are committed to delivering the right combination of e-business solutions and services, helping businesses to dramatically increase customer satisfaction, reduce the cost and risk of implementation, accelerate deployment and improve return on investment when implementing a robust e-business solution. Additionally, Compaq and Onyx Software are currently working on marketing initiatives targeting dot.com startups.
