Onyx Software Earns Leader Quadrant Position in Gartner Midsize CRM Suite Magic Quadrant BELLEVUE, Wash. - Onyx® Software Corporation (NASDAQ: ONXS), worldwide leader in successful CRM, today announced it has achieved Leader placement in Gartner's CRM Suites for MSBs (midsize businesses) Magic Quadrant North America report. The report, published by Gartner, Inc., a premier research and advisory firm, evaluated and positioned eighteen vendors in the MSB customer relationship management market. Gartner Magic Quadrants provide a snapshot in time of how vendors perform in relation to each other, and gauge where the overall market is headed to help customers make better-informed purchasing decisions. Onyx is one of only three CRM vendors included in both the midsize business and large enterprise Magic Quadrant reports and the only vendor of the three to be listed in the leader quadrant for MSBs. Gartner defines a midsize business as having annual revenues in the range of $50 million to approximately $500 million or midsize divisions of a large enterprise. According to Gartner, Leaders are vendors who are performing well today, have a clear vision of market direction and are actively building competencies to sustain their leadership position in the market Representative midsize businesses and large enterprises who have recently selected or deployed Onyx include: Amway Korea, Airborne Express, ASB Bank, the Andersons, Clean Harbors, Clearswift, Gemplus, Hong Kong Land, Kyorin Pharmaceutical, Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council, Riggs Bank, Suncorp, Turner Sports and UPMC Health Plans. Last month IBM announced the availability of a new online CRM solution powered by Onyx and delivered by IBM. Called On Demand CRM, the new service makes enterprise-wide CRM functionality available as an on-demand utility and gives medium-sized businesses a choice for flexible, cost-effective CRM that can deliver immediate return on investment.
