Sep 4, 2001 Onyx Software Adds Strength of IBM Global Services Expanded Relationship to Bolster Onyx's CRM Integrations With IBM's Proven Implementation Consulting Capabilities
BELLEVUE, Wash. - Powering enterprises with proven customer relationship management (CRM) solutions and established IT consulting expertise, Onyx® Software Corporation (NASDAQ: ONXS) has expanded its relationship with IBM to include IBM Global Services CRM Solution Services.
As part of this relationship, IBM and Onyx will initially focus on providing enterprise CRM solutions that deliver rapid ROI to mid-market customers. The two companies will leverage IBM's deep industry, analytical and integration expertise to provide CRM solutions based on Onyx's third-generation Internet architecture application suite.
IBM's Business Innovation Services organization will train a select group of experienced consultants in both Canada and the United States to deliver the Onyx CRM solutions. Initially, both IBM and Onyx personnel will staff projects, providing the necessary domain expertise for successful implementations.

Via the data centers in North America, IBM will offer Onyx applications in a hosted environment to customers looking to outsource their CRM needs. In addition, Onyx has partnered with the IBM eServer xSeries brand to ensure that the Onyx Product Suite runs optimally on IBM's affordable Intel-based servers. IBM's xSeries servers provide scalable, industry standard architecture with outstanding performance, manageability, reliability, and compatibility. Onyx's XML-based CRM software is IBM ServerProven, signifying that it has been tested and certified on IBM's Intel-based server family.
