Oct 30, 00 Seattle Mariners Select Onyx Software to Help Build Fan, Sponsor Loyalty Onyx selected as e-Business platform for improving sales, one-to-one marketing and customer support
Bellevue, WA-Onyx Software (Nasdaq: ONXS), a global provider of enterprise-wide, customer-centric e-business applications, today announced that the Seattle Mariners will standardize all customer-facing operations on Onyx 2000.
The Mariners will use Onyx e-Business portals across sales, marketing, service, support, community relations and event management to conduct both business-to-consumer and business-to-business interactions with customers and sponsors. The Mariners franchise will use Onyx Employee Portal, Onyx's thin client customer relationship management (CRM) portal for internal employees, to automate season ticket sales, suite sales and corporate sponsorships, and to conduct targeted marketing campaigns and customer tracking and analysis. The Mariners will use Onyx Customer Portal for lead generation and to enable Web-based customer self help, service and support.
The Mariners chose Onyx for its 100 percent Web technology and broad platform that would be able to span the organization and be used for both online and traditional business activities. Onyx has extensive experience in providing e-business and relationship management solutions to pro league franchises, with a customer base that includes the Portland Trailblazers, Anaheim Angels, Anaheim Mighty Ducks, and Seattle Seahawks.
