Onyx Software Selected by Mellon's Private Wealth Management Group for Customer Relationship Management
Mellon Group Chooses Onyx Based on Past Success, Deep Financial Services Expertise

BELLEVUE, Wash. - Onyx® Software Corp. (NASDAQ: ONXS), worldwide leader in successful CRM, today announced that Mellon Financial Corporation's Private Wealth Management group has selected Onyx as its customer relationship management (CRM) solution. Mellon plans to deploy the Onyx Enterprise application to users at 60 of its private wealth offices nationwide.

Cross-Divisional Deployment to Drive Improved Business Results
One of the key goals in Mellon's Private Wealth Management group is to expand business opportunities with both new and existing clients. Employees across the group's sales, marketing and portfolio management departments will use Onyx to better capture and integrate client and prospective client information, which will enhance efficiency in communicating with and servicing external contacts.

The cross-departmental approach chosen by the Mellon group mirrors that of many Onyx customers. More than 85 percent of Onyx customers use the product across three or more departments, with more than 60 percent using Onyx across five or more.
