Onyx Software and Metavante Integrated CRM Solution Delivers Success to Retail Banking Customers
Embedded CRM Application Enables Retail Bankers to Deliver Superior Customer Service

BELLEVUE, Wash. and MILWAUKEE - Onyx® Software Corp. (Nasdaq: ONXS), worldwide leader in successful CRM, and Metavante Corporation, the financial technology subsidiary of Marshall & Ilsley Corporation (NYSE: MI), today announced a series of new customers for their integrated CRM solution for financial services institutions. The Enterprise Contact Management (ECM) solution integrates Onyx CRM components with Metavante core processing applications.

Banks, such as Provident Bankshares Corporation, Baltimore, Md.; INTRUST Bank, Wichita, Kan.; Bank of Marin, Corte Madera, Calif.; Park Bank, Milwaukee; and Astoria Financial Corporation, Lake Success, N.Y. are using ECM to streamline financial transactions and customer interactions, enable bank staff to identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities for additional products and services, and turn customer interactions into sales opportunities. With the latest wins, Metavante's client list has expanded to include plans for more than 3,000 individual ECM application users in a dozen-plus financial institutions. ECM is designed specifically for financial industry users, including executive management, commercial lenders, call center agents, and branch banking personnel. It presents a highly customized Onyx user-interface to end users, allowing for comprehensive customer, financial, and relationship data to be gathered, integrated, and shared enterprise-wide through a single interface. The ECM partnership combines Onyx's award-winning sales and service automation with the proven hosting and integration capabilities and financial services expertise of Metavante. Metavante integrated its core processing applications and Onyx CRM functionality using the Embedded CRM platform, using its flexible framework and XML-based application server for easy integration and configuration.
