Sep 10, 2001 Independent Research Firm Lists Onyx Software A Leader in Mid-Market CRM Magic Quadrant Onyx Well Positioned to be a Leading CRM Vendor for Both Medium- and Large-Size Businesses
BELLEVUE, Wash. - Onyx® Software Corporation (NASDAQ: ONXS), a global supplier of customer relationship management (CRM) enterprise applications, has been listed a leader in Gartner Inc.'s 2H01 Mid-Market CRM Magic Quadrant. Citing Onyx's vision and ability to execute, Gartner announced its latest findings today at its Fall 2001 CRM Summit in Orlando, Fla.
Addressing investors at the CSFB Software and Technology Conference in San Francisco, Onyx chief executive officer Brent Frei said, "As an organization that knows what it takes to bring CRM to the mid-market, we couldn't be more pleased to be listed as a leader in this Magic Quadrant. Midsize businesses continue to hear tall tales and empty promises from enterprise CRM vendors, when what they're really looking for is the same level of functionality, combined with greater flexibility and lower total cost of ownership."
With an established foundation in the mid-market, Onyx has demonstrated its ability to identify and deliver the key elements midsize companies need from CRM, which include rapid implementation for faster ROI, nimble technology that can grow and adapt with the business, and strong support of business strategy and processes. As a result of this success, Onyx's implementation strategy for mid-market customers can serve as an example for large enterprises looking to capitalize on CRM. Onyx has observed that, rather than attempting a "one-size-fits-all" implementation, more and more large businesses are acting as a collection of mid-market operating units and granting their divisions greater autonomy in making technology decisions.
