Mar 27, 2002 Onyx Software Ships Next-Generation Partner Portal Fully Web-based, Integrated PRM/CRM Platform Enables Companies to Manage Entire Partner Lifecycle, Achieve Lower Costs and Faster ROI BELLEVUE, Wash. - Onyx® Software Corp. (Nasdaq: ONXS) today announced the immediate general availability of Onyx Partner Portal (OPP) 3.0, a completely Web-based partner relationship management (PRM) solution designed to enhance collaboration among a company and its partners. OPP 3.0 integrates fully with the rest of the Onyx CRM platform, offering low total cost of ownership and fast ROI. One of three integrated CRM Portal solutions, the Onyx Partner Portal is a PRM solution for organizations that depend in whole or in part on indirect channels to deliver their products and services to the market. Like the rest of the Onyx CRM platform, OPP 3.0 is built upon XML standards and fully integrates with other front- and back-office systems. A key feature of the product is its permission-based security model for partner profile management, lead distribution, and service and support. The security model prevents sales channel conflicts among a company and its partners, as well as the accidental sharing of sensitive information.
