Onyx Software Announces Preliminary First Quarter Results
BELLEVUE, Wash. -- Onyx Software Corporation (Nasdaq:ONXS), a global provider of customer relationship management (CRM) enterprise applications, announced today preliminary financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2001.
For the first quarter the company expects to report the following:
- Revenue in the range of $14 million, including services revenue of approximately $11 million.
- Pro-forma operating expense of in the range of approximately $17 million, which is below the targeted level.
- Pro-forma operating loss in the range of $3 million.
- Cash and cash equivalents greater than $30 million.
"We believe that the factors contributing to these disappointing results are temporary in nature. Onyx continues to sell quality software to satisfied customers. Our product release schedule remains on track. We are comfortable with our new lowered cost structure and strong cash position," said Onyx Software CEO, Brent Frei.
