Riggs Bank Selects Onyx Software as Its Global CRM Standard BELLEVUE, Wash. - Onyx® Software Corp. (NASDAQ: ONXS), worldwide leader in successful CRM, today announced Riggs Bank N.A. (NASDAQ: RIGS) has selected Onyx as its global customer relationship management (CRM) standard. Riggs Bank will use Onyx Enterprise CRM across its retail branches, call center, commercial banking group and private banking group, and intends to deploy the application to approximately 1000 users. Riggs Bank N.A., the primary operating subsidiary of Riggs National Corporation, has approximately $6 billion (US) in assets and 48 offices. Riggs is the largest bank holding company headquartered in Washington D.C. and is the primary financial institution serving embassies worldwide, with offices in Miami, London, the Channel Islands, and Berlin. "We set out to find the best CRM solution available for the banking sector - one that would allow us to present a single view of an entire customer relationship across all of the divisions of the bank," said Mark Hendrix, senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Riggs Bank. "Onyx was the right choice for us because of its deep expertise in banking and its Web services-based platform, which can ease integration to our core systems. Using Onyx will allow us to significantly improve our customer satisfaction and customer cross-sell closure rates." Onyx teamed with implementation partner Crowe Chizek LLP to help Riggs Bank put together the overall technology solution - comprising front- and back-office systems and best practices around a customer-centric business approach. Crowe Chizek is one of the top 10 public accounting and consulting firms in the United States and has the largest consulting practice outside of the "big five" accounting firms. When fully implemented, Riggs Bank employees will use Onyx Enterprise CRM to access comprehensive customer information across all bank departments and product lines, including savings and checking accounts, investments, insurance and loan products. Each customer's unique characteristics will be available, including demographics, preferences, complementary relationships, priority rankings, high probability cross-sell opportunities, and overall profile information. Riggs Bank will also integrate Onyx with its Avaya solutions as part of its computer telephone integration strategy, with the goal of enhancing the effectiveness of its contact center agents. Onyx Enterprise CRM integrates sales, marketing, and service operations throughout an enterprise to manage the multiple dimensions of customer and partner relationships.
