Onyx Honored at BayBio Pantheon Awards Ceremony

Onyx was awarded Outstanding Product Award for Kyprolis™ (carfilzomib) for Injection at the Northern California BayBio Pantheon Awards. Each year, BayBio presents the DiNA Awards to recognize achievement and honor excellence in the life sciences industry at the Pantheon Awards Ceremony, which brings together Northern California’s life sciences industry leaders to acknowledge the tremendous accomplishments in the industry.

Onyx Ranked in Deloitte technology Fast 500 List in 2012

Onyx was recognized among 500 technology companies in Deloitte & Touche LLP's 2012 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 list. Technology Fast 500 provides a ranking of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America. Award winners for 2012 were selected based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth during the period between 2007 to 2011.

Honored in February 2010 issue of BlackHealth Magazine

Drs. Tony Coles and Ted Love were named to BlackHealth Magazine's list of most influential African-Americans in the healthcare, medical, pharmaceutical and nutritional food industries. Honorees included many great African-American leaders who, through their voices, helped shape their companys' successful direction and mold the future for minority leaders to come.

Onyx Pharmaceuticals Honored at American Liver Foundation (ALF) Partnership Awards

Presented November 2, 2009 during the American Liver Foundation National Leadership Conference in Boston

The American Liver Foundation (ALF) awarded Onyx and partner Bayer with a 2009 Partnership Award. This prestigious honor is presented in recognition of the outstanding work done in collaboration with the ALF to increase education about liver disease through a grant sponsored by the companies which provide writing, translation and distribution of information in multiple languages, to ultimately reach a broader, multilingual audience.

Tony Coles, M.D. President and CEO, Receives National Medical Fellowships' Distinguished Alumni Award

Presented to Tony Coles on October 28, 2009 during the 2009 San Francisco Awards Gala at the City Club

Dr. Coles was honored at the 2009 San Francisco Awards Gala with the National Medical Fellowships' Distinguished Alumni award. The NMF is an organization that has provided more than $40 million in scholarships to more than 28,000 minority medical students since 1946. The NMF provides critical medical services and support to underserved communities while cultivating doctors and investigators that are both medically astute and culturally sensitive.

Honored in June 2009 issue of MedAdNews

Onyx was ranked 27th among 100 biotechnology companies in MedAdNews' 18th Annual Report: Top 100 Biotechnology Companies – Revenue. Companies considered for the report include genetic technology, molecular biology, structural chemistry, and/or rational drug design. The MedAdNews Annual Report ranks companies based on revenue generated in calendar year 2008 or fiscal year 2008.

Onyx Pharmaceuticals Honored at Annual NORD Gala

Presented May 15, 2009 during the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) Annual Gala

Onyx and Bayer were honored at the NORD annual gala for developing and commercializing Nexavar for the treatment of patients with inoperable liver cancer. The NORD Gala is an annual event held in Washington, D.C. where researchers and others are honored for significant achievements to improve the lives of people with rare diseases. NORD represents the nearly 30 million Americans who suffer from rare diseases.
