Onyx Software Names Peter Pervere to Board of Directors
BELLEVUE, Wash -- Onyx® Software Corporation today announced the appointment of Peter Pervere to the company's board of directors. Pervere brings to Onyx nearly 25 years of management experience in the technology industry."Peter brings extensive technology industry experience and valuable corporate finance and governance expertise," said Janice P. Anderson, Chair and CEO of Onyx Software. "I am very pleased to welcome him to the board."
Pervere has had an impressive career in corporate finance. In May 2002, he retired as the chief financial officer of Commerce One, Inc. a position he held since 1997. Prior to joining Commerce One, Pervere was vice president and corporate controller of Sybase, Inc. He was directly involved in the Initial Public Offerings and subsequent financings at Commerce One and Sybase. For both companies, he managed all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, internal audit, tax, financial planning, treasury, investor relations, real estate and facilities management. Prior to joining Sybase, Pervere was an Audit Manager at Ernst and Young. He currently serves on the boards of Digital Impact, Inc., Intraware, Inc., MontaVista Software, Inc., and the Berkeley Repertory Theater. Pervere received a B.A. from Stanford University, was certified as a Public Accountant in California, and is a member of the Financial Executives Institute.
