Onyx Software and Access Data Announce Integrated Solution for Fund Distributors
Integrated CRM and sales reporting enables investment management firms to increase sales through improved focus on top producing brokers, advisors and agents

BELLEVUE, Wash. - Onyx® Software Corp. (Nasdaq: ONXS), a worldwide leader in successful Customer Relationship Management (CRM), today announced that Access Data is embedding Onyx CRM technology into its new hosted solution designed for the specific needs of investment management firms. The new solution combines Access Data's SalesVisionTM sales reporting, compensation and revenue management tools, with Onyx Enterprise CRM and will be delivered by Access Data as a hosted offering.

Access Data is using the Onyx Embedded CRM platform, Onyx's component-based, web services architecture which is designed to significantly reduce the cost and complexity of integrating applications to extend the value of their investment management offering. Access Data is among a growing number of Onyx partners like Getronics, CIT, IBM, and Metavante who are deploying Onyx Embedded CRM to deliver solutions tailored to specific customer segments and needs.

Investment companies use Access Data's SalesVision to mine detailed information from 3rd party data feeds to track sales at the complex level, the fund level, and the distribution firm level, as well as tracking sales by individual representatives. With this new integrated solution, Access Data is combining Onyx CRM marketing, sales, and service functionality with their seamless sales reporting capabilities, giving sales management and wholesalers a user friendly tool that helps them focus on the appropriate channels and effectively cultivate relationships with the most productive representatives. The new hosted solution enables investment management firms to:

  • Identify and follow up with reps who drop big tickets, enhancing productivity and retention
  • Identify candidates for cross-sell campaigns, improving new product introductions
  • Identify reps to target for closed end funds and manage sales interactions for effective follow through on a tight schedule
