July 6, 2004 Onyx and Fujitsu Sign Reseller Agreement BELLEVUE, Wash. - Onyx® Software Corporation (Nasdaq: ONXS), a worldwide leader in successful Customer Relationship Management (CRM), announced that it has signed a Reseller Agreement with Fujitsu Limited. Under the terms of the agreement, Fujitsu will resell Onyx Enterprise CRM in Japan and will provide consulting and implementation services. Fujitsu and Onyx are also evaluating joint application service provider (ASP) based business opportunities in Japan."We looked at a variety of CRM solutions in the market and felt that Onyx had the best mix of technology, products, successful implementations and organizational commitment," said Takashi Shimada, Director of Glovia Business Group at Fujitsu. "Additionally, we already had several successful joint customers, which helped validate our belief that Onyx is the right partner for us. We look forward to leveraging our partnership with Onyx and garnering more joint wins." This partnership comes on the heels of the successful joint implementation at Kyorin Pharmaceuticals in Japan. Using Onyx, Kyorin created a personalized and comprehensive portal for their 700 Medical Representatives (MR). The system also serves as a central information portal where marketing and management staff get up-to-the-minute information on the performance of key parts of their business. Since implementing Onyx at Kyorin, Fujitsu and Onyx have acquired two additional pharmaceutical customers in Japan including Nichiiko Pharmaceuticals. In addition to the recent wins in Japan, Fujitsu and Onyx have also made strong progress on partnerships in other parts of the world. Last year, Fujitsu Services led the implementation of Onyx at Highland Council, local government organization serving the most northerly area of Mainland Scotland. In Australia, Onyx and Fujitsu Consulting were recently selected by the Australian Central Credit Union (ACCU) where Fujitsu Consulting is currently leading the implementation.
