Onyx Launches Siebel, PeopleSoft and Oracle CRM Customer Migration Offer
Offers up to $500K in Migration Assistance to Rapidly Move Siebel, PeopleSoft and Oracle CRM Customers to Onyx Customer Management Solution

BELLEVUE, Wash. - Onyx® Software (NASDAQ: ONXS), a worldwide leader in customer process management software and solutions for the enterprise, today announced a migration program targeted at Siebel Enterprise (NASDAQ: SEBL), PeopleSoft CRM and Oracle CRM (NASDAQ: ORCL) customers who are concerned about Oracle's commitment to the future of their application environments.

According to one customer, "When it came time to retire our aging Vantive system, we looked seriously at the options available, including upgrading to PeopleSoft CRM," said Cenk Ipeker, Vice President, Financial Operations, Fundtech Corporation. "PeopleSoft represented too much technology and infrastructure for us and, given the Oracle acquisition, the future of the product was murky. Once we saw the flexibility of the Onyx platform, we felt it would be easier to work with and less expensive to maintain in the long run."

Onyx is offering Siebel Enterprise, PeopleSoft CRM, Oracle CRM, as well as Vantive and JD Edwards customers a credit of up to $500,000 towards professional services to assist in their migration to Onyx's Customer and Process Management solutions.

"Oracle's move to acquire Siebel has created uncertainty in the market, and it is unclear what the future holds for customers in terms of product innovation, delivery times and ultimate cost," said Janice Anderson, Chair and CEO of Onyx. "We are talking to a number of enterprises, especially on earlier versions of Oracle, Siebel and PeopleSoft, who are seriously considering their options."

According to industry analyst Rebecca Wettemann of Nucleus Research, "With the market consolidating, companies are under more pressure than ever to justify and validate their IT investments. With so much of the market in flux, enterprises should opt for solutions that can be rapidly deployed at a low cost, and easily modified over time."
