Onyx Software Launches OneServe FASTtrack for Local Government "With FASTtrack, Onyx is taking away the risk and anxiety from an initial CRM investment," said Marcus Robbins, UK Director of Services, Onyx Software. " We offer a proven solution, we'll get it up and running in 30 days and we'll do it at a great price - and it's all backed with the experience of 30 local authority customers and a 10 year track record of delivering CRM success. We want to prove to new customers that ROI from a successful CRM implementation is imminently feasible. With OneServe FASTtrack, councils can see the benefits of their initial investment immediately and can then decide to customise and extend the solution out further at a pace that suits them." Designed to help local authorities accelerate their progress towards eGovernment, the OneServe FASTtrack package will enable councils to get up and running quicker and therefore achieve a faster ROI. The offering is based upon fixed fees and includes licenses of the Onyx OneServe 5.0 application and 30-days of implementation for £70,000. "There's no doubt that CRM technologies can help authorities with their service transformation strategies." says Teresa Jones, Senior Research Analyst with the Butler Group. "However, as we've learnt from commercial organisations, where CRM projects have not always gone as smoothly as would be desired, a successful enterprise-wide customer relationship management strategy takes structured planning and buy-in from all facets of the organisation, top to bottom. As the eGovernment deadlines draw closer, authorities who have not defined their CRM strategies may feel pressured into doing a big bang implementation. But by taking advantage of fixed-price implementation packages, such as Onyx's FASTtrack offering, authorities can take a cautious approach. The onus is on the vendor to prove their worth and authorities can dip their toes in the CRM water, prove the value of the solution and refine their strategy, before investing further." Based on an independent study undertaken at Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council for the National CRM programme, authorities can expect to see the following benefits from an Onyx solution:
Onyx Software, a worldwide leader in delivering successful CRM, offers a fast, cost-effective, usable solution that shares critical information among employees, customers and partners through three role-specific, Web services-based portals. The Onyx for Local Government solution, with versions developed specifically for UK and U.S. local governments, is being used by more than thirty local authorities across the globe including Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council, Worcestershire County Council, Highland Council and Cambridgeshire County Council. The solution, which includes a desktop for contact centre representatives, a citizen self service portal and a robust reporting package, is helping local authorities share vital citizen-centric information across departments to provide higher levels of service, reduce operational costs and maintain accountability for departmental programs and services.
