Implementing Onyx Process Manager (OPM)
This three-day course teaches the skills and techniques required for current OEAS developers and Business Analysts to create business rules using the Process Designer tool in Onyx Process Manager (OPM).
Through a combination of presentation, demonstration and a series of exercises, participants will gain hands-on experience with OPM and be able to create simple and complex Business Processes via the Process Designer tool. In addition, participants will learn the necessary administration and maintenance tasks to support OPM.

- Hands-on lab scenarios include the following:
- Create a process to validate required fields in OEAS.
- Create a scheduled process in OPM to examine customer product detail records and determine if maintenance agreement expiration is imminent. If so, a sales opportunity incident is created and the customer primary contact is notified.
- Create a business process that automatically enrolls new companies in a campaign when they are inserted. In addition, the business process will create an incident and workNotes.
- Learn to create a scheduled process in OPM that examines support incidents and performs incident escalation in OEAS on all open incidents not updated within a given timeframe.
Target Audience: The target audience consists of existing OEAS 5.x Developers and Business Analysts who will be creating business rules with OPM. Participants should have attended the Customizing Onyx for Developers class, or have equivalent knowledge.
Prerequisite: Experience with the Onyx internet architecture, its administration tools, and customization methodology are strongly recommended for participation in this course. Attendance in, or equivalent knowledge of, the following courses is suggested:

- Introduction to Web Technologies
- Customizing Onyx for Developers
